A 5-day spring break camp by Bay Area Champion highlighting logical reasoning lessons culminating in a buzzer contest for elementary students to build critical thinking and problem-solving.
The Spring Break Reasoning Buzzer Contest is a 5-day in-person camp organized by Bay Area Champion, designed for elementary students to develop critical thinking and logical reasoning skills. It combines guided daily lessons on reasoning concepts and puzzles with a final buzzer-style competition where students compete for medals and certificates. This engaging program fosters analytical skills and a spirit of friendly competition.
Preparation and camp duration: 5 consecutive days (Monday to Friday) with sessions typically from morning to midday, competition on the last day.
Winners are determined through a grade-specific buzzer-style competition held on the final day of the camp. Students apply the skills learned during the week to solve logical reasoning problems under time pressure. Performance is scored based on correct responses and speed during the buzzer contest. Medals are awarded to top performers, and all participants receive certificates recognizing their achievement and participation.
