In the hackathon, participants are encouraged to harness their creativity to craft innovative impactful solutions that contribute to a more sustainable world. Tackle challenges such as water conservation, food/agriculture, smart cities, healthcare, and education with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as your guiding light: you are free to choose any challenge that you resonate with. Whether you’re developing a water use tracking app, waste marketplace platform, AI-powered recipe generator app, or any other application, your goal is to drive positive change in the environment and society at large through software and/or hardware. In the ideathon, we invite you to step into the role of an entrepreneur: your mission is to present a compelling product pitch that solves a sustainability-related challenge of your choice (inspiration can be found here). Your pitch could include a prototype/sketch, business model, and/or an idea that is feasible and supported by evidence. The ideathon empowers you to showcase your innovative ideas and propose creative solutions to address critical challenges in sustainability without building a product. In both categories, we will require a minimum of two deliverables: a video demonstrating your solutioCurrently Unavailable product pitch video and the code repository/folder/webpage link that judges can use to view the solution themselves.
