Christa McAuliffe Space Center: Summer Camp

For more than 40-years the Roxborough YMCA has been making summer fun and exciting for children in our community. Summer camp activities include field trips, swimming, sports and activities that campers discover the importance of living a life full of fitness and nutrition. Going to a summer camp is not only a memory that your child will cherish forever, but it also has the potential to change their life. As our children today are surrounded by modern technology, spending time in the great outdoors can be an eye-opening and rewarding experience. Summer camp allows your child the opportunity to learn new skills, form wonderful relationships with their peers and learn more about themselves.

Rock-N-Water Christian Camps offers a variety of youth summer camps specifically geared towards individuals looking to grow in their Christian faith through a sleepaway camp experience on their own or with a group of friends. Campers engage in activities like whitewater rafting, rock climbing, and backpacking, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in each day's adventures without any extra costs for high adventures. Rock-N-Water is a group of Christians who want to safely lead people into the wonder of God's creation, challenging them through adventures designed to help them grow personally, relationally, and spiritually. We focus on biblical programming, and our summer camps for kids use the help of nature, friendship, and challenge to develop character. In addition to the amazing amounts of fun and outdoor adventures that each of our teen summer camps contain, youth of all ages will find ample opportunity to make good friends with fellow campers in a small group setting as they experience the fun and challenge of a week together.

Our hands-on summer camps include: Lives Improve Through Engineering & Science (LITES) - empowering young women to discover how math, science, and technology drive innovations that improve our world. Computer Camps - learn how consumer electronics, automobiles, and robots are made, or learn Python and virtual reality. Robotics Camps - Gain practical experience in building and programming for robotics. Esports Camps - Interact with collegiate players and coaching staff to work on areas of improvement for your title of choice. With both day camp and residential options, you can experience Kettering's campus, collaborate with other motivated students, and develop skills in a university environment known for hands-on STEM education

Russell Education provides private, one-on-one and online tutoring to students at schools in Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, and the surrounding suburbs. We work with students in grades K-12 (and some beyond) who need assistance in organization and planning, study skills, subject-area tutoring, and standardized test prep. The tutoring staff includes the Director, David Russell, and a current roster of over 40 other tutors. The team can tutor nearly any subject in grades K-12 (and some college level subjects as well). Many of our tutors come by referral from members of the team. All tutors are interviewed and undergo reference checks. During the intake process, we engage clients in a wide-ranging initial conversation and often gather information from teachers, therapists, and other sources, in order to begin with a clear profile of the student. Tutors keep notes on each of their sessions, which are reviewed periodically. David is available for consultation with parents, tutors, and others on an as-needed basis.
